It is with great pleasure that we provide you with the General Available release of Infor ERPLN 6.1 Feature Pack 5, a next step forward in providing world-class ERP solutions to our customers.

Feature Pack 5 brings many enhancements, including Vendor Managed Inventory, Item Subcontracting, Ship Kits and a series of customer driven enhancements through user group participation. This Feature Pack also enables ERPLN for connectivity with the Infor Open Service Oriented Architecture.

This package includes:
-        ERPLN 6.1 Feature Pack 5
-        Enterprise Server 8.5
-        Enterprise Server 8.5 Extensions
-        Studio 8.5
-        Documentation Portal ERPLN 6.1 Feature Pack 5

The Documentation Portal provides the information needed to install the software and other latest release product documentation (publication release date 27 November 2008).

Installing the ERPLN 6.1 Feature Pack software starts with the Documentation Portal.
This CD-ROM will start automatically, after which you will see a menu in the left Navigation window, and a welcome screen in the right window.

Installation manuals:
In the Navigation Window under ‘Documentation Infor ERPLN¬ 6.1’ you find an item ‘ERP LN 6.1 FP5’. Under this item you will find ‘Installation Guides’. This item provides an overview of the most important documents needed for the installation.
-        For new installs, open document ‘Infor ERP LN 6.1 - Overall installation Guide for Infor ERP LN Products - New installation’
-        For upgrade installs, open document ‘Infor ERP LN 6.1 - Specific Installation Guide - Updates’

More documentation:
In the Navigation Window under ‘Documentation Infor ERPLN¬ 6.1’ you find an item ‘ERP LN 6.1 FP5’. Under this you will find various document categories, containing documentation such as User’s Guides, Difference Studies, etc.
