Objectives
The Vendor Managed Inventory module in Enterprise Planning supports supply
planning by a supplier for a customer. In this scenario, the customer leaves it to
the supplier to decide the dates and quantities of the deliveries, based on the
agreed terms and conditions.
This guide describes both the supplier's side and the customer's side of the
functionality.
Intended audience
This document is intended for planners who use ERP LN to plan the supply of
items on behalf of customers, or planners that leave the supply planning of
particular items to their suppliers.
The intended audience can include implementation consultants, product
architects, support specialists, and so on.
